Do I Need Experience?
Section titled “Do I Need Experience?”No. New players are welcome. Read the New Player Guide and ask questions when something is unclear.
Do I Need To Do Voices?
Section titled “Do I Need To Do Voices?”No. Character voices are optional. You can speak in first person, third person, or plain description.
What If I Miss A Session?
Section titled “What If I Miss A Session?”Communicate as early as possible. The GM will decide whether your character is absent, lightly piloted, or temporarily off-screen.
Can I Change My Character?
Section titled “Can I Change My Character?”Usually, yes. Talk to the GM. Small adjustments are easier early in a campaign.
Can New Players Join Mid-Campaign?
Section titled “Can New Players Join Mid-Campaign?”Sometimes. It depends on the campaign, current story arc, table size, and scheduling.
What Browser Should I Use?
Section titled “What Browser Should I Use?”Use a modern desktop browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Keep it updated.
What If Beyond20 Is Not Working?
Section titled “What If Beyond20 Is Not Working?”Confirm Beyond20 is installed, enabled, and allowed to access both D&D Beyond and Foundry VTT. Refresh both tabs and test again.
What If Foundry Is Lagging?
Section titled “What If Foundry Is Lagging?”Close extra browser tabs, disable unnecessary extensions, check your internet connection, and refresh Foundry. If lag continues, tell the GM.
