Discord
Discord is the main communication hub for Momentum Games campaigns.
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”Discord is used for:
- Voice chat during sessions
- Campaign announcements
- Scheduling reminders
- Between-session discussion
- Private GM messages when needed
Audio Recommendations
Section titled “Audio Recommendations”- Use headphones or earbuds to reduce echo.
- Test your microphone before session time.
- Choose a quiet place when possible.
- Use push-to-talk if background noise is unavoidable.
- Keep Discord updated.
Setup Checklist
Section titled “Setup Checklist”- Join the campaign server.
- Confirm you can see the relevant campaign channels.
- Test your microphone.
- Test your headphones.
- Confirm your display name is recognizable to the table.
